"Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Hotel del Lago with my wife for a vacation and to golf. The staff was great, extremely helpful and hospitable. The building is a bit run down, as mentioned in other reviews, so that was expected. Could definitely use a deep cleaning, but we were there in the Spring so may have had some lingering winter dust to knock off. The breakfast was good, standard Uruguayan resort breakfast from our experience, the dinner had some good dishes too, and with Punta del Lago 20...

"Location, location, location! Great location and so close to the beach (just a short block away). The area is also very safe and quiet.
The room was spacious and clean. The shower enclosure was a bit small. Large folks may need a room upgrade.
Very good public transportation close by and taxis are always nearby."

"21 Dias con mi Sra.Exselente, limpio buena atencion del servisio solamente algo ,el desayuno estaba incluido yo diria entre desente y bueno,lo unico que la variacion fue lo mismo los 21 dias que estuvimos en el hotel Una persona que se queda un par de diaz todavia esta bien pero cuando uno pasa mas de tres o cuatro diaz ya cansa .mi critica trata de ser construtiva para el hotel Gacias Blademir"

"When I saw the price, I thought it was too good to be true. After staying there for four nights, we were amazed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is not luxurious, but is comfortable and totally clean. The location is fantastic with historically important restaurants very nearby, and a bakery next-door. Easy walk to the historic downtown and also to very good local bus service to get to other areas. Breakfast also was outstanding with many choices of delicious things.
