"The lift was out of order and will be for the next month I believe. The hotel is in need of an update and the beds are not comfortable. The staff were excellent though, very helpful and kind. No shuttle to the airport but an easy walk to it. Breakfast was alright but was a charge. Kids eat free for breakfast which was nice. "

"We found this a bit of a mixed experience. As we arrived very late, we only noticed the exterior the next morning. The building is clearly a 1960/70s structure, and the concrete architecture is quite stark and not particularly appealing. However, It’s clear the hotel is in the process of being refurbished, with the entrance and hallways already completed to a very high standard—they feel grand and welcoming. Great having the fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Beautiful selection for breakfast. The host Keith was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond during our stay. We would stay here again without hesitation."
