"The property doesn’t have staff available 24/7. I checked in around 2pm, if you check in after 5 there’s an after hours procedure but unsure what it is.
I didn’t have a physical card on me during check in. The only alternative option was to give card numbers for them to type into a machine.
The room was a decent size and in the main clean with the exception of a teapot that was full of dead ants. The washer dryer was brilliant.
The main pool is being renovated and my room directly led...

"We had such a wonderful and memorable stay here with our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness.
A special thank you to Mary at reception, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the hard work and support from the housekeeping team.
But what truly made our stay extra special was the restaurant team. Our son celebrated his birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond...

"Had a fantastic trip here. Facilities were excellent, however the hotel was looking a little dirty and tired. Considering the price per night, and the extremely high prices for all the food and beverages, I would have thought this would have been a bit more up to scratch. Most of the staff were very friendly."

"My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful little cottage, very homely with everything you need. Amazing breakfast food provided. Complimentary bottle of wine. 2 free wine tastings at Witches Falls winery which was so nice coz the weather was perfect. Will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and also will return. "

"We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay at Mt Cotton Retreat. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room in the Boutique Hotel. The forest surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas where we could chill out and/or eat our meals. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and mid cons in our room made for a great stay. Thank you!"
