"I traveled with my family to the Cumaceba lodge. We stayed for three nights and four days. We had an amazing Amazon experience! Our guide Dixon was fabulous! He made our stay even better by his experience and knowledge of the area, animals, and flora. The 2 to 3 excursions per day kept us busy and always wanting to find more wonders of the rainforest. I would truly recommend this lodge if you are wanting a hands-on experience of the Amazon."

"I am a biologist and I loved the experience at this lodge. The rooms were comfortable with quality sheets and towels changed daily. The food is excellent and prepared from local jungle resources. The guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna of which we saw lots. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off there afterwards. "Very clean room with amazing river view with my booking. Extremely friendly and helpful spanish speaking staff - use (google) translate app if you don't speak spanish. Average pool and was under maintenance. Many shops on the same street if you are looking for chips, pop/soda, and juice. Most of the nicer restaurants are closer to downtown square which is 7-10 minutes walk only. Area of improvement: Breakfast! only very few options. Nothing much for vegetarians other than fruits - pineapple, papaya, and water melon. They can make some scrambled egg or fried eggs if you ask, but the portion is quite small for me. I guess I can keep asking.. which does make me feel like I am eating too much?"
