"The room was a bit dusty. Check-in took a bit of time and the concierge were not exactly friendly compared to other hotels we stayed throughout Japan. Location was good nevertheless. Loved the sauna provided by the hotel. "

"錦市場にも近くて、八坂神社も徒歩圏内でした。鴨川の川床料理や先斗町でお酒も楽しめます。チャペルが併設されていました。3階に美容室があり事前に予約して友 人は髪のセットや浴衣を着付けてもらいました。歩き疲れた足に大浴場は最高でした。朝風呂まで入ってリフレッシュできました。"

"Whatever the rating system is in Japan, this resort would be a 5 star. This is a beautiful property that is decorated in traditional Japanese style. You are greeted with traditional Japanese tea and cookies. My children loved the complimentary ice cream in the lounge, of course. The rooms have tatami flooring but we had both regular beds and futons prepared for us on the floor. Our room had both a soaking cypress bath and an outdoor onsen. "This would be the second time we booked with Onyado Nono. We knew that if we ever go back to Kyoto, and availability permits, we would always book here. Love the amenity, the staff, and the overall experience they provide. We mostly book here cause of the onsen and the tatami inspired facility. Its a walking distance to Kyoto station as well."
