Lodge Amboseli, the hotel administrator did not meet me warmly, suspecting that I really paid for the stay? How will I prove it? "The Aberdare Country Club is for the most part amazing, but with so much potential to be more than it is. The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet. Meals are good, but repetitive if you're there for more than a couple nights."

"Not even a middle class hotel, low 1star experience. No air con, dirty rooms and over charge for driver to pick up at the airport and to drive you to dinner. Dinner at an expensive resort was less than what the driver charged total of 35 USD plus additional SHK 2000 for trip of one hour, to a restaurant that he chose, which was situated only 15 min from the very bad hotel. Not nice breakast not on time! I had to cook part of it myself, dirty & smelly restaurant & kitchen a disgrace!"

"This is a very cosy place to stay. Despite being a hotel, you get the feeling of being at home with very intentional and friendly customer service. The staff were extremely warm and proactive in offering help. And the food options from Zeke’s Cafe, right on the property, were excellent! Can’t rave too much about this place that provides excellent customer service, all for a greater good!"
