"The Great House is in a great location. It is an easy walk to restaurants and bars, as well as the water taxi terminal. There is a bit of construction right now, which is a bit noisy, but that won’t last forever. The staff was very helpful with answering questions and arranging taxis. We enjoyed the peaceful pool area, as well. This is a great place to stay in Belize City! We have stayed here 4 times now and highly recommend it."

"All in all an amazing stay! The hotel will arrange a shuttle to get you from the airport for $10 USD. The rooms were clean, AC banging, housekeeping comes in the morning. The pool was refreshing and clean. The Lost Gringos (restaurant/bar in the hotel) has the best customer service hands down with delicious food! The location is steps away from the beach where you can enjoy the hammocks or a massage. The chicken drop was a cool cultural experience. Def recommend & ill be back"

"The casino next door had the bass blaring until 1am. The the patrons gather in the courtyard after closing for the next hour. When the casino was closed ,the staff of the hotel partied until done. I was originally assigned a dorm room but because the wifi wasn't working. And the pool was not functioning as well. Not a good experience for my first visit. Don't send anyone else there. Pleasr "

"Ok. This "resort" was awesome! Everything it may lack in comfort or beauty was definitely easily overlooked by how amazing the owner and staff were. The owner Rob was super friendly, approachable, hilarious and somehow remembered everyone's name. The resort had great entertainment; hermit crab racing, bingo, karaoke, Brunch, all amazing. The bar on the property was definitely the best bar on the island with the best bartender DANNI!!! How i loved her energy. I would definitely recommend this...
