"Stayed in this lovely small hotel For a work trip. It’s in a slightly older style but still very pleasant. Michael and his colleagues were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and the room was comfortable and had what I needed. Bed comfy and room tidy. Breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend for visits"

"Had a fantastic few days here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked they always provided an answer to our requests promptly and happily. Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us. Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended. "I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. "

"The hotel is in an old building. The floors are uneven and very creaky to be expected. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom wet tired. The bar was very quiet but the landlord was very friendly and chatted with me for some time which made being solo pleasant. WIFI works just fine through the building. Breakfast was lovely. "
