"The Westin is right on probably the best beach on the island. Both pools are large with the family pool being great for lap swimming or exercising. We very much enjoyed the resort and spent most of our one week vacation on the property relaxing. "

"Love this property! They are full service. You don’t have to leave unless you want to. It’s beautiful and the view of the sunsets are gorgeous. The surroundings are lush with tropical plants and pathways to walk. The lagoon is nice for an ocean swim or snorkeling. And they rent the equipment on site too. "A not so hidden gem with a rustic plantation ambiance. Lush surroundings, great parking, friendly staff, convenient to Volcano National Park. The 1/2 mile loop trail behind the property was a fun morning picker-upper to get the day started. It’s a little quirky that the guest check-in is in the gift shop, very laid back but service is wonderful. The restaurant is top notch and the portions are reasonable for the price. "最初、Kioskとはなにかわからなかったが、行けば分かるように掲示板があった。また、google mapでみたとき、駐車場がどこかわからなかったが、問題なく駐車スペースがあった。バストイレは共通だが、タオルの入れ替えは2日に一回くらいだった。冷蔵庫に物を保管するときは、近場のスーパーで得た紙袋に部屋番号を書いていれておいた。特にイタズラされることはなかった。玄関の鍵を開け閉めするのにコツがあり、鍵を深く入れてから、抜けないようにすこし鍵を引いたところでしか回らないものだった。また、靴を脱ぐスタイルの宿だった。しかし、kilaueaからかなり近く、利便性はよかった。古いので温水が出るのに時間がかかった。費用は抑えられた。また火山の活動と休みがあえば、泊まりたいと思う。"

"The studio apartment was a charming place conveniently located close to many amenities (cafes, groceries, restaurants, etcetera). The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Waimea was our base to explore other areas such as Pololu valley, Hawi and others. The manager was very helpful in providing local information of good restaurants around all the multiple areas we visited. It was always good to have an insiders' point of view. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. "The accommodations were terrific, a great value in superb location for visiting Volcanoes National Park and Hilo area. Spacious, comfortable beds. Host was very accommodating by offering to deliver to-go breakfasts as we had an early morning flight. I recommend the Lanikai Brewing Co for dinner if you stay here- the best food we ate in Hawaii for adults and kids- also great beer and excellent cocktail lists with low-key come as you are feel (i.e. sweatpants)."
