"Everything was perfect at La Chaize. This was our third time and the reception still took time to explain about access, breakfast and all that we needed to know to get the best from the hotel. The Gentleman on reception took us to our room, which was at the rear of the main hotel building. He explained the features of the room such as the jacuzzi, electric velux window, etc. The room (41) was immaculate and well decorated. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast is charged...

"Good basic chain hotel. Comfortable. Lift. Breakfast was a bit expensive at €12 but good selection and staff tolerant of late eaters! Shower floor slippery (as per usual: i carry a mat with me now that I'm old and fragile). 7 mins walk (uphill) from station which is itself right in town centre by the old port."

"Chambre avec baie vitrée intérieure donnant sur le vestibule d’entrée avec un baby-foot devant, mauvaise insonorisation… Cheveux sur le sol de la salle de bain. Pour le prix, on s’attend à de meilleure finition notamment au plafond de la piscine, et un équipement extérieur non rouillé… Déjeuner non compris pour un prix de nuitée déjà élevé."
