Meal plan is expensive, but there are many nice seafood / Italian restaurants on the beach promenade 1.5 km south ( an easy walk or quick taxi ride). The beach is lovely with great swimming once you wade beyond the shallow sand bar 25 m from shore. "We got best family room (501) with sea view though balcony was quite small. Hitel was very clean and staff are very friendly especially receptionist called "Suadia"...young passionate with smile at work. Hotel does not have great amenities except for outdoor pool which we couldn't use it as it was cold in start of April !! Location wise its excellent as on the beach and away from Durres city buzz. "
