Staff was extremely nice and had everything ready when we arrived. They even saved us a parking spot in front of the hotel which was a huge plus especially in Durres. At checkout, they even gave is a little gift. Definitely felt appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at the sunrise hotel. We were looked after well by our hosts and breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and we were close to many restaurants and shops. TBH I was not sure how we would find Albania but I would definitely recommend taking the time to come here. Lots to see in Durres, we were here before the main season but the advantage is that it's a bit cooler. A lovely surprise was the gift from the hotel owners when we checked out. Thanks so much.

The private beach they advertised is a complete lie, they have a “collaboration” with two of the beach clubs. Not that the staff at one of the two knew anything about it and it was useless either way because you still have to pay for the chairs and umbrella. It’s a very kid friendly beach as long as you don’t mind cigarette butts and garbage literally everywhere. The room itself met the most basic of needs and was pretty clean although we did find a piece of toilet paper behind the bathroom door that didn’t move at any point in our 3 nights there. Pool could be cleaner but it wasn’t super gross. The location is right in the middle of a lot restaurants and cheap souvenir stands and two blocks from the beach which was convenient. Staff was friendly and the included breakfast was nice. Overall, I won’t be going back but it was fine enough if you’re on a budget.

The hotel itself was clean, and the staff did an excellent job of daily cleaning due to the sand. The staff was very nice, but only one person (the main manager) spoke English. No shampoo or other toiletries were provided (except liquid soap from a dispenser like in a public bathroom). The surrounding area was dirty and noisy, and the beach wasn't all that great. Food in the area was good, but very crowded everywhere (peak summer time). Good cheap place to stay a night, but wouldn't recommend for a long vacation type stay.
