"Lovely hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Quite far out from centre of Glasgow but very good value for money."

"room was nice, but staff rude and not at all helpfull. Bar closed and no breakfast or dinner. Also staff booked be onto wrong dates for stay so had to look for different hotel last minute after two nights. Would not advise this stay if you want to eat, drink or sleep."

"Heater resets itself back to 17c so had to keep bumping it back up. A couple minor bug bites in the morning. Paid $130 for one night but a fairer price for what you get should be half that price at most."

"We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Boclair - the building is a lovely art deco style building. Very clean, great room and a lovely breakfast. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. We had a great chat with Brendan on the front desk and we would highly recommend the hotel. "

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. "This place is absolutely beautiful. The beds are very comfy, the hosts are incredible, they were in touch to make sure everything is OK and if we needed anything. The whole place is very very clean. It is so homely, I definitely recommend it, and would certainly book it again over any hotel anytime! Thank you so much"
