"Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....

Tan-yr-onnen Guest House

5.0 star property
Saint Asaph
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (50)
"Lovely accommodation in the Honeysuckle suite, very quiet and spotlessly clean. All needs catered for and bottles of water and milk for tea and coffee replenished daily. Very friendly professional hosts and the breakfast was delicious. Great location for motorway and central to many interesting parts of North Wales but set off the main road by a long driveway. Would stay again."

Pontins Prestatyn Sand Holiday Park

3.0 star property
Prestatyn
5.0 out of 10, (508)
"Absolutely awful, floor absolutely filthy, one glass in the chalet for two people. Bedding provided was for the double sofa bed so we couldn't sleep on the single beds which would of been more comfortable. The sofa bed was horrendous, our backs are killing us. The worst thing was our neighbours in the chalet underneath, arguing all night, playing football all night until 3.30 am, smoking drugs, we only stayed the one night even though we booked two nights, NEVER AGAIN!! AVOID!!"

Coach House - Tyn Dwr Outdoor Centre

Llangollen
6.0 out of 10, (3)
"The centre seems to be divided into two separate parts - one of them is renovated, lovely main hall, where we were lucky enough to get the room. The rooms were top-notch, very clean, very comfortable and nice. We had extra pillows, comfy beds and small things like tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits were a nice add-on for Welsh B&B. With full Welsh breakfast included for £60 per twin - it was the price of an average Welsh B&B, but very nice standard. We were aware that some of our friends...
