"My stay at Montenegro Lodge wasn’t without its challenges, albeit very minor ones. On the first day we discovered that the door didn’t lock, so we had limited security. The internet was intermittent at times, and the hot water was not sufficient to fill and use the hot tub. However, where this property fell short, the staff were there to pick things up. I cannot commend them highly enough for their hospitality and kindness throughout our stay. The hotel is missing a few things before it can truly be recognised as five‑star. "I can’t say enough good things about the staff here. I took some time off and needed to get away - it was off season, but these guys are on top of it. Room service was great. They handled my spa services. Even made me a to go lunch since I had a very early flight the day I left. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are all nice and have great views facing the bay - nice, quiet location too. "

"The hotel is in an ok location. Staff, mostly, is great. Peter especially was so very helpful and kind. The Lighthouse Restaurant was very good and really took care of my gluten free requirements. The two problems were significant enough that I cannot recommend this hotel, nor would I choose to stay again. First, the heat. The hotel is unbearably hot and there is no way to cool the room. This is not acceptable for a hotel that claims 5 stars. The second issue is the smoking. Smoking is allowed on the terrace of the guest rooms. This makes the terrace unusable for non smokers. The people next to us were such heavy smokers that we could not even open our terrace door at times. "

"Great location … wonderful staff … outstanding breakfast … Three Poached Eggs on toast with bacon and smoked salmon. Two large slices of Prosciutto and Cheese … Two large, warm Croissants with honey and preserves … a basket of assorted bread … butter. Cappuccino, Café Americano … Hibiscus Tea with Honey and a shot glass of Lemon Juice … fresh glass of Orange Juice … Many thanks to Hotel Majestic and Budva, Montenegro. Mange Takk!"
