"Everything was fine, friendly, helpful staff, good room, well fur is her. Only a few niggles - a pancake shower is not user friendly for a Quick shower, no USB sockets in the room, room service after 9pm was rather limited."

"The check in staff was amazing! Liv in particular was extremely helpful:) The rooms were decorated in a fun and cheeky manner but had all of the modern amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. The Woodsmen’s restaurant was outstanding. We had the Sunday Roast and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The entire stay at the hotel was wonderful."

"Lovely property. Front desk staff very helpful. Requested housecoats and slippers, slippers never came, housecoats was the rattiest thing I have seen, would fit a child and both had no ties. I stayed two days and they never vacuumed my room and there was a spider on the ceiling and a huge cobweb in the window that I cleaned. "This is a good hotel"

"Stopped here for a few nights as we had a wedding to attend. All was good though I am a light sleeper and did have trouble due to a low pitched hum that persisted through the night. As we weren't staying long we didn't ask to move to a quieter room. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest you make it clear when you book that you need somewhere quiet. The food was good and reasonably priced and the bar prices were not as steep as some we have encountered in other hotels."

Our apartment was nice, however the bedrooms upstairs were warm as it was unseasonally warm weather.There were fans in both bedrooms which helped a lot. "Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!"
