"It was a very clean a beautiful lodge. Staff was very nice and helpful at every time we asked or needed anything. The zoo was amazing, clean and organized, the animals was very friendly. Prices was decent!"

I booked a room with a pullout because I had 3 kids traveling with me and it was difficult to pull out - when I asked at the desk, the woman made sure yo let me know that it was my fault for doing it wrong before coming up to fix it. The queen pullout came with a sad plastic bag with a single pillow and a thin blanket. The whole place could use some...

"Beautiful, well cared for grounds, including a lovely little chapel. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant on the property is very convenient, the food is good, and the staff are very nice and welcoming. I will definitely stay again on my next visit to this area."

"For the price this stay was ok. The pile of trash over flowing outside the entrance to our hallway was not the best site. We stayed one day while traveling and for the rate it was OK."

"I thought I was booking (at the last minute) a hotel I'd stayed at before, but got the name wrong. :o( BUT, even though it was last minute and we had little time to read reviews, etc., we found it awesome. Room and bathroom were clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was fresh. Didn't use the pool due to a short stay (one night), but it looked clean. I'd stay here again!"

"It's goof if your just passing through. Was there Tuesdaynight theough Friday morning. When I returned from work the Wednesday, one of my bath towels and the floor towel from the bathroom were gone, bed wasn't made and trash wasn't removed. No one showed up to clean the room the rest of the time I was there. Been working in the area 4 days a week for the last year, but I'll be going back to Hampton from now on."
