Cari Hotel di Daerah Stratford-on-Avon

"I felt I was slightly misled by the photos. It led you to believe that the old house was the main hotel, with bar and dining room. In fact except for rooms nothing in this part of the house was in use. Our suite was in fact in the old house and it was a good size and the bathroom was clean with a good heated towel rail. However the furnishings were tired and a bit grubby, the windows outside were filthy and there was a wasp/bee nest in the eves and we found a few dead ones on our floor. The...

"Our room was modern and very well presented, check in was fine and parking convenient and reasonably priced. Main areas need an update or refurb (which seems to be happening currently)but overall good value for money"

"The hotel is very pretty and picturesque. Housekeeping and the rest of the staff were very friendly and polite. Reception was the exception. Nothing major, but when we arrived, staff weren't sure about simple things like parking or whether we could use the business centre, and kept having to check with each other. A smile and a warm, friendly greeting would also go a long way. It's the first impression guests get, so it's a shame it didn't match the rest of the stay. The air-con in my room...

"Great location, bery clean and very friendly staff"

"Excellent hotel everywhere is spotlessly clean. Lovely outdoor area overlooking the river. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice. I would definitely stay here again MrB"

"Nice place with friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast."

"I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels and I wouldn’t recommend this establishment. The food was excellent and I would recommend booking into the restaurant for dinner. The rooms were in my opinion a very poor standard. Cramped, jaded, dated decor and housekeeping was below par. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There was no attention to detail. The rest of the hotel followed a similar pattern. Whilst I appreciate that this is an historical building, I think...

"Very tired property that needs TLC. Breakfast selection was poor for the price you pay. Very noisy hotel"

"The room especially the bed was very dirty. There was nobody at reception whenever we came in, and if we needed something it was usually a 20 minute or longer wait. We ended up running around the building to find the reception staff."

"The impression from the lobby/reception was worrying -- tatty carpet, dark, old-looking, and mismatched decor. But the rooms were comfortable and generally clean, though there was a bit of mould in the corner of the shower. The breakfast buffet was good, salmon-avo toast was very nice. The coffee was silly weak though, had to ask for a new pot. We had a pleasant stay but will probably try somewhere else next time."
