Cari Hotel di Daerah Staffordshire Moorlands

"The location is good and stunning views. the rooms are not kept well and bathrooms were moldy tile. Not good housekeeping."

"Excellent hotel. Would thoroughly recommend. Clearly some staffing issues across the hotel (lots of temp staff) but the experience was excellent nonetheless"

"Excellent location, Car parking available at £5 per night. All staff were very helpful and a well stocked bar."

"Room was very tired and the carpet had not been vacuumed. Lots of crumbs. Bathroom was clean but not well maintained with shoddy repairs. The bar closed at 9pm even on a Saturday night. Hardly any staff. The building is covered in scaffolding so hopefully the hotel is being updated. The location is very good but could not recommend the hotel in current condition."

"We had a very comfortable overnight stay at the hotel. Everything about the hotel was of a high standard. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others."

"Over all not the stay we were hoping for. The carvery roast and breakfast was good and the staff were nice. But the spa was not included in the room cost as described making it not worth £148 a night, the 4 poster bed was not as described in the online photos and the bedroom window opens up over another rooms private hot tub where they allow other guests to smoke all night filling our room with smoke."

"This is the worst hotel I have stayed on. We were put in the motel part, like pontins but 20 years older! Front door had light shining through it, light was hanging with loose wires, dead flies, spiders, cob webs, stains on sheets, bed side lights no light bulbs, grouting yellow in bathroom and windows held in with lose paint I did ring to complain but they weren't interested. The hole building needs knocking down. I got an email to say it's being refurbished, and to bear with them. If you...

"We stayed at Hollin Hose Hotel and unfortunately , the standard of the room was quite disappointing. The room felt very outdated and in need of refurbishment. The windows were extremely old and difficult to open, the bathroom door would not close properly, and the bathroom tap was loose and moved around when used. The carpet looks quite dirty and, in my opinion not ideal in the a hotel room. There was also a noticeable musty smell in both the room and corridor, with an unpleasant smell that...

"If bennetts bar had music, it would have been more of a spot for us to just hang out. The bar tender was great. The food was great but it was too quiet"

"Historic building full of character, enclosed feel as surrounded by trees, friendly and helpful staff, good food, one nice touch was packed lunch available at no extra cost, even better if more soap etc and more comfortable seats in dining room."

"no complaints at all"

"Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it."

"Sorry"

"Upon arrival to Splash Landings we went to the bar to order drinks. Over 10 minutes later we still had no drinks as the barman could not operate the till or simply pour a slushy. When we had breakfast in the morning it took longer to find a clean plate than it did to get breakfast. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but we were only staying one night so we made do. I always strip the beds after we stay over at hotels to help the domestic staff and I was utterly disgusted by the bedding...

"I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

"Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay"
