"The hotel overall was amazing. Only complaint that was the room smelled like cigarettes, especially in the bathroom. When running the shower, the smell just got worse. "

"Staff was stand offish. I asked for a couple pillows and received annoyance and one pillow. Under the sheets had some mold/yellow stains in the mattress corners. I wish the rooms had more to offer, like a better coffee pot, or fluffier pillows. But the mexican place next door is amazing. Would love to eat there again but probably go with a different hotel."

"After booking on your web site, where it stated that there was only one room left...we arrived to find that the property has NOT been open for months. We had to find a room, which was hard on a Friday afternoon. Also, we were worried that we would be charged for three nights in a place that was not open. The mail box was over flowing with mail, there was Xmas decorations still out. We are not happy at all."

"You can’t beat this gorgeous location, surrounded by calm soothing waters of Sandusky Bay. The cottage is very well appointed with spices and nice utensils. We will definitely be back, next year or sooner!"

"This is the ideal location if you’re coming to the area for birdwatching. I’ve been coming in May for several years and have stayed in different places, but this will now be my go to spot. Condo is exactly as shown, it was immaculate and decorated very cute, furniture comfortable, complex was very clean and Safe. Love the little screened in porch. "Hotel is nice breakfast also good, pool temperature was very warm good, but very very dirty, all pool surround floor with garbage and debris, very nasty. "

"It was a cheap, clean room. But the tv was tiny, and elevator was sketchy, and the breakfast was terrible. Powdered, watery eggs and rubbery sausage. "
