"Die Lage ist einzigartig mit der riesigen Parkanlage. Ein richtig tolles altenglisches Herrenhaus. Wir waren im Haupthaus untergebracht. Einziges Manko ist das Schwimmbad, welches erheblich renovierungsbedürftig ist. Eigentlich würde ich es schließen, weil dieses überhaupt nicht dem Anwesen gerecht wird. Duschen verschimmelt, von den Decken löst sich die Verkleidung. Das Wasser war trüb. Ganz lieblos und runtergekommen. Das superschöne Anwesen hat diesen Pool sicher nicht verdient. Wir haben...

"Clean friendly hotel"

"Went to visit daughter and stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn. Car parking was straight forward as was checking in. The room was comfortable and we had an early morning swim. Breakfast had a variety of options which suited us. The cooked breakfast was cold but wasn't hot. All staff around the hotel were very polite and helpful. Generally, pleasantly surprised that everything was as good as it could be. Would I stay there again: Yes."

"Wow!!! What else can I say?? This was me and my partner's first time in Watford, and we were super impressed. All the staff were amazing, welcoming, and friendly, but a big shout-out to Siead (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). This guy went above and beyond to help and make sure we were both happy with the service. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of different food to choose from, and a fry-up was the obvious choice. "Ideal location for travelling in to Wembley. 10 mins from Watford junction by car. Ample parking space, food options on site but also good value for money carvery less than 5 mins away. Check in/out hassle free , staff warm and friendly. Room clean and well looked after. Paid in advance for breakfast which was well worth it. Plenty of options th choose from. All in all a comfortable and pretty seamless experience. Only downside was my team lost at Wembley. "

"This is a lovely historic hotel and we enjoyed our stay apart from one thing (but this was promptly rectified) : initially we had a front bedroom facing the road which was busy and noisy all through the night. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a rear bedroom which was wonderfully spacious and with much better facilities. The staff were very pleasant, polite and efficient, the hotel was fascinating and well-kept, and we would certainly stay there again."
