"Cheap hotel but does the job. We needed an over night stay and it does the job. One of our other parties had a room that smelt a drainy but they moved her straight away when we went back to the guy on reception who had checked us in. Staff are polite so can't fault it. Nice spacious room and comfy bed"

"I stayed a night at Rose and Crown, the room was the most affordable in the area and to my suprise its one of the most beautiful room i ever stayed at. It was perfectly clean, quiet and super unique as its a 400 year old building."

The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and professional with a superb breakfast. I Would definitely recommend for a special occasion stay."
