"Staff was very friendly and joy to be around I would definitely recommend"

"Staff is friendly, rooms are clean."

"Wonderful restored house from around 1900. Clean and beautifully furnished with extensive garden and pool. Hosts Brian and Vanessa are both helpful and charming. We felt very relaxed there. Excellent breakfast this morning. Got a demo and useful tips on making Vanessa's tortillas! Homemade muffins, rolls, salsa....yum. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Gonzales. Would stay again. Worth every penny."

"Had to pay for 2 rooms but only got one with no refund, elevator was broke so had to carry luggage upstairs, no hot water, no hand soap in bathroom, and staff did not seem to care."

"It was the cutest room!Everything you needed was available and very well decorated!"

So if you need a clean bed to lay your head while traveling and...

"Everything. It wasn’t nothing like it was listed online. It’s disgusting. No AC , room smelled bad"

"Thought I was gonna be robbed."
