"Small boutique hotel in the heart of Colombo, walking distance to the ATM, cafes and restaurants. Service is friendly, personal and non- intrusive. Pool is small but enough for a quick dip. Gym is tiny but enough. Third time staying, will be back!"

"I have travelled the World extensively, and this property is possibly my favourite of any I have stayed in. It maintains old world colonial character and charm, with its very high standards, excellent staff, and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We stayed 8 years ago and have been planning g a return since. We are however devastated to hear that the hotel will close at the end of its current lease in August 2027, so this was likely to be our last ever visit."

"While I know I came before official check in time, no rooms were ready. There was no one at check in so I had to look for someone. They said I could wait in their sitting room for a few hours until a room was ready. I asked where their restaurant was so I could get breakfast as it was about 1030 am and they said they weren't opening the restaurant that day...
Taking it as a sign of things to come, I just left and booked a room at Galle Face Hotel instead. "

"値段をかんがえると、とくに不満はなかった。夜に着いたのだが、門が閉まっていた。開けてもらうためにはwhatsappでホテルの人に連絡し、門を開けてもらう必要があった。ホテルに行くのにUBERの運転手が代わりに連絡してくれたが、日本人はふつうwhatsappを使ってないと思うので注意が必要だと思った。"
