"Easy check in and loads of parking. The room was absolutely amazing, we were outside so felt like being in a cabin overlooking the garden. Bathroom was huge and clean. Went to the bar in the evening and the service was great. Can't fault this hotel"

"There is a good menu available in the bar in the evening Breakfast offers a good selection and quality Accommodation very good and comfortable, great nights sleep ,there is parking at the rear ( not sure of arrangements) , we traveled by train a easy walk to the Nags Head under a mile It is close to the main attractions in the city as well as easy road access to the surrounding area The staff and owners are friendly and helpful Could not ask for more"

"It is next to a busy road but I didn’t hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience."

"St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...

"Lovely pub and hotel. We walked here from the train station and didn't realise it would take that long. It took about 20/25 minutes to get to the city centre from the hotel. The rooms are lovely and the shower was great. The room sies get hot at night but there was a fan in the room. I would stay again but would cab it to and from."
