I stayed right at the top in a double with low ceilings, a view over rooftops to hills. En suite bathroom with bath no shower. The stairs are quite a few but you can pause half way up to look at antiques. There is no lift. Bed was very comfortable indeed. Would have liked a shower attachment in bath to wash hair. The snug bar at ground floor is very cosy. The receptionist was very helpful with advice and a phone charger for my sister. Arundel is a lovely but very steep town. Bring your walking shoes. Loved my room great nights sleep, interesting books in the room. Toiletries and hair dryer provided.

Excellent old building but nicely done great beds and restaurant serves great food and value for money. All staff are polite and courteous the tap bar is great Ans always busy with some great ales and cocktails The hotel is in a great location and has own parking Been here several times and still love it
