"We were a little disappointed that we didn’t have a microwave in the room. They did have a fridge - good size. For 600.00 a weekend it was a bare minimum hotel. Breakfast was ok - the gentleman who was serving it was wonderful though. We wouldn’t return."

"The bed’s hard, the sheets dirty and old, and the duvet was raggedy. The bathroom fan as extremely loud and the AC didn’t work well. Worst part is that if you book through Expedia you can’t get a discount or refund."

"The lady at front desk (Jackie?) was very nice, fun and helped us in many ways. It’s an old building and that’s a part of experience. The only disappointment was the jet tab in our room. Probably not used much though looked clean, the hot water was brownish and a bit challenging to use it. Still we enjoyed our stay :)"

"My wife and I loved our hotel room, complimentary breakfast, roomy and clean bathroom and shower area, very comfortable, clean beds, very friendly and helpful staff all around from the front desk, house keeping, kitchen staff and the location is superb in that it is close to Peteosky, Bay Shore and downtown Charlevoix. So, I must whole heartedly recommend to everyone who wants to pick an excellent place to stay, it would be here."

"Conveniently located hotel for us in Petoskey while we visited family in the area. Was near shopping, restaurants and even a casino if you’re into that kind of thing. Only complaints we had were the fairly tight/limited parking and that the room walls didn’t seem to insulate sound very well."

"We had a 2 night stay and were not informed at check in the room wouldn't be made up daily. We can appreciate re-using towels but for the price they should have made the bed, taken out the trash, restocked our coffee, and replaced the disposable coffee cups. I had to make 3 trips to the lobby to get Coffee and cups."

"The location is excellent. The room was spacious. The kitchenette well stocked. The breakfast could’ve had more choices. But.. the location made up for it!"

"Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The property definitely needed sprucing up. There was much peeling paint, big water stains on the ceiling and the exterior looked very neglected. The bathroom was very small with a high bathtub that was tough to get in and out of. It was an old house, on a nice corner. But, we were a bit disappointed."

"The Charlevoix House was a wonderful bed and breakfast in the charming town of Charlevoix. Steffan was a wonderful and attentive host that was kind, present, and made amazing home cooked breakfast! Everything was done with care and intentionality. We would 100% love to come again soon!!!"

"There were no staff onsite, front desk or otherwise. Room smelled intensely of cleaning chemicals and was frigid with the A/C on full blast. You get what you pay for."
