"this was the perfect hotel, the staff was amazing, it is surrounded with food places etc, not far from downtown. clean, friendly, and so convenient. would stay there again and again, highly recommended."

"This hotel was amazing. Front desk check in was so friendly and welcoming. Room was spotless, comfortable and had a pleasant clean smell. Their breakfast has so many options, you feel like you are at a restaurant. The staff kept refilling everything when things were half empty. Saw them constantly cleaning off tables and counters. 24hr coffee bar had delicious coffee. Pool was somewhat small, but enough to take a dip in and cool off. Nice sitting area around the pool to relax after a long road...

"We enjoyed the schoolhouse very much as the kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook easy dinners and lunches. The location was great as we visited nearby Harper’s Ferry and Shepardstown’s Bavarian Inn (dinner). The farmland in the area was breathtaking as we enjoyed driving around at night. The schoolhouse was a special experience considering both of us are teachers. Great job on the decor!"
