Heat in room was off when we arrived so very cold. Breakfast was disgusting. Bagel and muffin were clearly several days old and milk was sour. On the plus side, room was clean and roomy and beds were comfortable

There was fast food and two restaurants rights across street from hotel, and grocery store. There was a Sheetz, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Chinese Restaurant and Italian Restaurant. Walgreens Pharmacy right next door.

Did not have an opportunity to eat at the buffet. Room was clean staff was great. My only issue was with the Hotels.com reservation. The website registered me for a “suite” with a king and I reserved two queens. The staff fixed it and were great but what a hassle for all of us.

No WIFI for the whole time!!!! I'm not glued to my phone every second of the day but being able to use my phone for videos if I can't watch TV would be nice. I cannot believe this was not a priority in this age of tech. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good, even the bed was pretty comfortable - like a firmer mattress. BUT the convenience of turning on the TV to get some AM news, weather etc. and some noise at night, FIX the WIFI!!!! The hotel was one of the most reasonably priced in Shepherdstown. Having a pharmacy, Food Lion, Italian and Chinese restaurants and a gas station close by was nice.

The room TV did not work, but the lady at front desk moved us to another room. Bathroom was dirty, toilet was running and water made a high pitched noise when turned on. TV in new room worked but was not easy to us remote.
