"You walk into a smell that I can’t describe other than cat pee. The walk to the room was looking at dirty carpet, stains all over, and just a bad smell. Never seen any house keepers out and about to ask for supplies. Bed was VERY uncomfortable felt like springs wanted to pop through. Bed not connected sat on the end and it tipped forward. When I came to check in the guy at front didn’t greet me, he stayed counting a drawer talking to hisself and when I said hello after standing there 3 mins he...

"Terrible I canceled my trip with expedia and I was still charged 200.00 for one night when I canceled in the alloted time. So I have no comment on the hotel except they won't refund my money because of expedia not letting the hotel know."

"Breakfast was good, rooms were clean!"

"The hotel was generally dirty and not maintained. The breakfast room was dirty (floors and tables were sticky). It was poorly stocked and by 8AM there was practically nothing left to eat (except for waffles). There was no one tidying and replenishing the food. The rooms and hallways were musty and carpets were filthy. I have been a customer of Marriott for at least 30 years and have never had such a bad experience. I am surprised Marriott allows their standards to deteriorate to such a level."

"The staff were great and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The building, however, is a bit run down. Only one elevator was working, and it felt like it could give out at any moment. Our first room had an air conditioner that made very loud, unpleasant noises. Since we were staying for several days, we asked for a different room, and the staff quickly helped — the second room was better. We did have a toilet break during our stay, which my husband ended up fixing himself....

"It was a place to stay, staff unfriendly and as a handicapped person there was no ADA grab handles in tud almost twice getting in and out and toilet was so low I couldn't get up, there was only two towels in the room for 3 people you had to put your shoulder against the door to open it and it stuck trying to shut it"

"We stayed at the Hampton in Battle Creek for the weekend because we had a wedding in Marshall. It did its purpose because we were only there to sleep but the room had trash behind the nightstand from previous guests. The showers water pressure was terrible, and it barely drained. The tv stand was broken and you had to use all your might to open and shut the hotel room door."

"I liked the size of the fridge( not just a small, " under the counter" type.) The counter & kitchen sink were a nice surprise."
