"The classic room we booked was very tired and dated. The walls, especially around switchesX were marked, worn and grubby. The bathroom was especially bad, dusty, mouldy and generally needs a refurb - I felt dirty using it! The decoration, fixtures and fittings were extremely dated. The carpets were marked and stained. "Excellent friendly staff very clean hotel though out the only thing that could have been better was the lunch and dinner menu not much choices also I noticed pool quite cold for me and shower and bath water was just warm not hot and I like a hot bath not a warm bath. "

"Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again,...
