4/10 Poor

"The room wasn’t the cleanest I’ve been in nor was the property maintained well. The staff was great and so was the breakfast.However, the bed was quite saggy and unsupportive, and our bathroom was not clean upon arrival. La Quinta, you can and should strive to do better. Not likely to return."

"I booked a room through Expedia and got a confirmation. I was flying in from Boston and my flight was delayed. I got to the hotel at 1:30 AM totally exhausted from the trip. The desk attendant said the hotel was overbooked and he did not have a room for me. He left the front desk and did not come back. No offer to help find other accommodations. I did not know the area and was traveling using UBERs. Total mess! Couldn’t find another hotel and ended up sleeping in the Greyhound bus terminal waiting for a bus I needed to take the next morning. They charged me for the room and I am waiting for a refund. Don’t trust booking confirmations from this hotel."

"The hotel was overbooked. The manager said they would refund part of the room cost since I didn’t get the room I paid for and never did. There was a private event scheduled on Friday night that took over the entire lobby and courtyard with drunk people and my 17 year old and I were unable to enjoy the historic atmosphere. I tried speaking to the front desk the next morning and they had no interest in our poor visit. It’s was an incredibly expensive stay for little benefit other than sleeping."

"Was pleasantly surprised. First time in Denver on a short weekend trip. The ease and price of the metro right at the hotel was a plus+ Kids ride free to 17yrs+ security on the line to/from the airport+ Be aware of surroundings always, however for a day trip to the City, you can’t beat it. If you are from any major City, we’re from Bay Area CA so it’s BART for us, you know what to expect. Hotel staff was great, moved to a higher floor room with no issue+ friendly+ Ease of going to airport+ clean inside the hotel. We would absolutely stay again. Pool area was nice+ be careful as they did not put any grip on the floor so it’s slippery- a lawsuit waiting to happen as I saw many others including me almost bust their butts. Overall I would recommend for a layover or a weekend trip."
