"We last stayed at the Bonaparte in 2010. The years have not been kind to this once elegant property. It is indeed "tired", as others have remarked. The kind staff cannot make up for rooms that show signs of cosmetic rehabilitation years past, now in desperate need of further attention. The bedding is old, the furnishings in the rooms basic. "I struggled with this one. The staff were great, the bed, albeit a little soft, was quite comfortable. Linens were nice. The breakfast was quite good,
The reason for 2 stars is only due to almost NO HOT water.
We booked a 3 night stay in a deluxe room on the 3rd floor. #5. I was only able to have one shower with some hot water. My wife boiled water in the kettle and tried to clean up in the bathtub.
