"Attending a function in Perth this week, we stayed at the Ibis Hotel on Murray, as we usually do. In our room we encountered 3 examples of poor maintenance. 1) the shower drain was blocked and very slow to drain, 2) the inner bathroom door handle was broken, i.e., door could not be opened, in which case one could become trapped inside, and 3) the bar fridge had turned into a "deep freeze," i.e., the milk for coffee was frozen! "We booked a 3 night stay at the Holiday Inn West Perth. The hotel was of a very high standard. We booked a King sized room which was extremely large. The only thing was it was single glazed which made it a little on the noisy side at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good and well worth a visit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay."
