"Pros: The property is close to the centre of Màtrafüred, where the restaurants are, and it is also close to the hiking trails. It has a pool (though it is a bit dated) a kitchen and dining area for guests to use, as well as a sauna and a nice back garden in the woods. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and the room was clean. Cons: The property is right next to the main road, so if you have a room that faces that side, it is very noisy. "As a solo traveller I quite often get stuck in a corner room somewhere, but not here, room was spacious. Breakfast was plenty to set you up for a days sightseeing. Being on a busy road you dont really notice any noise. Exit the hotel and turn left, 2 mins. to the red metro 2, which wiill take you to the stop for the 100E bus to the airport, or on to the parliament building., if you prefer to walk a 25 min.stroll you are at the Elizabeth bridge."

"The apartment was very clean. I loved that there was a kitchen and living room. I especially loved the peaceful balcony that looked out the back of the property. It was within walking distance to many of the things I wanted to see. It felt very safe. The only downside was that the beds were extremely hard, which isn't my preference. Other than that it was great."

"Fabulous hotel …absolutely stunning interior. Rooms were spacious and quiet with huge comfy beds. Staff were so lovely and accommodating. Location was great to explore the whole city with easy public transport links. The most beautiful breakfast room with an abundance of food offerings and à la carte options. Will be staying here again."

"Very Edwardian look but first class rooms. Staff brilliant and very helpful. Especially the waiting staff in the restaurant. We arrived at 20:40 all hungry I asked if the kitchen was still serving and was told yes till 21:00. Got into the restaurant at 20:55, the manager and waiter were both friendly and served us happily. Cleaners were all very nice."
