"We loved the eclectic look of the hotel. The food at the restaurant was very good and so convenient. We enjoyed their pool and many sitting areas. The location was within walking distance to St. Pete’s Pier. Every staff member or server we talked with was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again."

"I have stayed at Pod39 twice and have been very satisfied based on the reasonable price. It is like a chic dorm room, very streamlined to basic essentials in terms of furnishings, design of the bathroom and the room is quite small. What is great is maid service everyday making the bed, new towels, etc. Pod39 is also a great location right next to Grand Central Station to take the subway system within walking distance to major cultural places like the Museum of Modern Art. "The rooms are not the smallest I've stayed in Manhattan, but pretty close. They call their rooms "cabins", and I can see now why. Charged us $3 per bag to stow for a few hours and $60 to check in an hour early. Hotel is close to the piers which is what we wanted, and we were able to walk to Carnegie's diner for lunch and Birdland for dinner. Okay place to stay if you're taking a cruise the next day. But $395 is still pretty steep."
