"I had a great short stay, our host and staff were lovely, I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and was given just the right amount of information about my stay, which did come in useful. My room was a good size, very very clean and tidy, I had a great view of the harbour and was very happy with my choice. I will look forward to staying again when I go back to Weymouth. "Great budget b&b not too far to walk to the Beach or Harbour, Easy check in, Peter was very helpful. Limited free parking on the front of the property, we managed to park 2 out of the 3 days we were there, the other day I was able to park overnight on the street. The room was clean and perfect for our short stay. There was a small issue with a leaky toilet but Peter was well aware and had it fixed before we left. I would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"Checked in at 5pm and ordered dinner. Service was excellent. Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner. Room is lovely, decor is very nice, great shower in bathroom. Room next to busy road but had no trouble sleeping. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are very nice. Will definitely stay here again"

"The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. "

"A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended."
