"Adorable Tiny Digs! We thought we’d give it a try. Cute tiny trailers built and decorated into tiny themed rooms. Just a different “little” experience for a one night stay near the Hawthorne neighborhood in Portland. Lots of cute little PROs and not too many CONs. PROs; Our tiny digs (Merlot) was clean, cute, very comfortable. You’re in a locked, fully fenced, secure lot in case you’re worried about that. Tons of great restaurants around in walking distance. We ran into the grounds/house keeper...

"From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. The lobby was clean, the attendant was cordial and he was sensitive to my aura. The car rental (Thrifty) was horrendous, my reserved car was 2.5 hours late however, my late arrival at hotel was met with concern and calmness. The room was just what I wanted, quiet, peaceful, and CLEAN! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Portland:)"

"Good rooms and convenient location. Nice to have a cafe in the building, though it's expensive. Decent gym. However, the hotel is next to a park with a lot of unhoused people and there's limited street parking, sketchy, didn't feel great leaving the car there. The hotel itself has NO parking. There's only one person working at a time, both for cafe and desk, especially given the sketchy location very questionable. Staff was also not helpful in trying to extend the stay and not knowledge about...

"The the hotel staff was absolutely amazing! We had a problem with our booking and they were able to resolve the issue very accordingly and in a timely manner. When you stay here you feel like you were walking through an episode of the history channel because of all of the beautiful authenticity kept in this place! I will recommend and continue to stay at Benson for every return to Portland!!!"
