"My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

It heats up 10+ degrees hotter than outside and takes hours to cool down at night. "Liked the quirkiness of the cottage. Like the art work around the rooms, liked they left us milk on arrival. Good instructions on how to get there. The road surface was pretty rough and you had to be very careful when parking. Didnt like the lack of lights at night We arrived when it was dark and the outside light wasnt working made it difficult to see the path had to use torch on my phone.
