"I have traveled all over the world and this is my favorite place. The food is absolutely delightful! I am a chef and restaurant owner and I am completely blown away by the food! I truly joy the entire atmosphere.The walking paths through the grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. The cottages are beautifully decorated and clean. If I could live here, I would. I come here 1 - 2 a year. This is my oasis away from the snowy tundra in Superior, WI. The owner, chefs, staff, and grounds man are all personable and welcoming. I love Houmas Plantation and can't wait to come back!"

"The breakfast area desperately needs someone to bus the tables- very messy. Coffee thermos needed refills. Shower head loose from wall. Dirty glass at bar sink. Hotel is in a great location near restaurants, malls, & Interstate. They are remodeling so hopefully it will be better "

"This is a larger, business and event driven hotel with excellent staff, modern and well-maintained guest areas, and comfortable, clean rooms. A large group of cheerleader competition families were checking in at night when I arrived, and the staff handled the larger crowd efficiently my room was clean, modern, and well maintained I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. It’s on a busy main highway with close access to stores and casual restaurants."
