Tha hotel was great , clean room, nice bed, in fact everything was great except water pressure in the shower and the breakfast. I couldnt find the breakfast server so I went into their kitchen to find the syrup. There were no eggs or sausage left and still 30 min left for breakfast.

Great experience during our trip

The breakfast lady was awesome. She kept the food full even until the last moment it was opened. The hot water on the third floor specifically in room 317 was not consistent in having hot water. The front desk was awesome in our check in and check out. I would definitely use them again when in the area

All staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean. The only thing, was the continental breakfast was not that great. They hardly had anything, no fruit, the juice was bitter the eggs had no seasoning and the sausage was very greasy.

OK place to stay

I had to fill out a check-in form and write my credit card number and expiration date by hand instead of sliding my card into the machine, as one does at other hotels. To get additional towels for the 5 of us (the hotel had been told there would be 5 of us), I had to take our dirty towels and washcloths to the front desk. Rather embarrassing. Breakfast was only adequate... eggs and sausage, but no biscuits, and it ended at 9. rather early. The room was very comfortable, though, which we were thankful for.

The place is pretty clean, except for the air conditioner filters. I still don’t understand how in Southern Louisiana people don’t believe in keeping air conditioner filters clean. Front desk was friendly and helpful. I really want the breakfast lady’s job though. All I saw her doing was sitting on one of the chairs in the dining room, while people were eating, doing something on her phone and watching TV. Didn’t bother wiping up tables after guests finished eating. SMH They do actually have cooked food for breakfast, or did while I was there. The coffee was horrible though, and there was no juice.

Nice, quite, comfortable for 1-night stay

As I live about 60 miles away, I needed to stay at a hotel that was near the seminar I was attending in Vacherie. I found this Quality Inn via Hotels.com and it was very reasonably priced. I arrived on a Friday evening with plans to leave early Saturday morning and thus needed quiet so that I could get to sleep early. I was given a room on the 2nd floor that was indeed very quiet and I didn't hear other guests above, below, or next to me. The young lady who checked me in was friendly and helpful. At check-in, a credit card was required to be charged for a $100 deposit. It was refunded to my card on Monday morning. I am a plus-sized lady so I bring my own bath towel; indeed, the bath towels provided were too small for me (this is not a complaint -- just a note for other plus-sized guests who might stay here). Travel-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were provided along with 2 small bars of soap for washing hands & bathing. I didn't have time to partake of the complimentary breakfast in the morning. I was able to drop off my keycard in a box without having to wait for someone to check me out, though another young lady staff person came from the eating area to ask my room number, I presume so that she could process all the check-outs, as there were several keycards in the secured box. As my seminar is likely to occur in the same location at least once a year at this time, I will likely stay at this Quality Inn again if the price is still reasonable.
