"Very nice hut in a really good location but had a weird damp smell coming from the shower. We didn't use it but were only there the weekend so managed."

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the rear of the property. Very clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. Pub just a few minutes walk away with good food. Otherwise quite remote but there are shops a short drive away. Perfect location for a countryside retreat."

"I didn’t receive the automated email with check in information. But a quick email to the owner & he replied quickly with the code. I didn’t arrive at the property until the evening (dark out) I think it would be good in the check in information it’s shared where to find the key box. The house is on a busy road; so you could hear the traffic a lot. The parking at the front of the house is questionable. Expecting you to park on the path. I was worried my car would get hit. "Just about perfect!"

"Pros: Really good communication from host. Decorated nicely. Log burner (extra charge if using hosts logs). Milk in fridge. 8 minutes drive to Beamish museum. 4 minutes drive to a really good play park and splash area, by the river. Comfy beds and bedding. The accommodation was really clean. Shower heats up quick, large shower head. Dog bowls and biscuit treats - nice extra. Cons: Oven was broken by previous guest (on request, host was really good at providing air fryers).
