The only other downside was I do feel we were ripped off on a 10 minute cab journey which cost way too much money."

Hatem was an incredible host who attended to our every need, the place was so serene, the view is absolutely spectacular, and the farm animals were an incredible addition. "The host at the rooftop is excellent. The guy (Muhammed) working the late evening front desk shift until the morning is very helpful, speaks good English, and overall honest. The girl working the front desk is a liar very dishonest. My dining bill was 1887 egyptian pounds (I gave the host a tip on the table) and decided on her own to round up my tab. I paid it because she said she had no change. When I paid my taxi to the airport again they had no change so I did not accommodate her scheme. I gave a tip to the taxi driver directly. The only reason I'd advise not to stay here again is because it's 22 minutes away from the new museum and about 25 minutes away from Sphinx. 45 minutes from the Airport with no food options within walking distance. We tried walking to a corner store and restaurant but the side streets were dirt and no one could understand us on how to reach the restaurant. The alleys had been bricked off where the map thought it was a road to pass through."
