"We had a really good stay. The bad reviews (and many are wrong) are scary and I almost did not book here. Check in was easy. The staff are all very friendly. We were in room 612. Super Cold AC, Very hot shower, lots of TV channels. The beds were comfortable. We had a side view of the beach. The room was clean and we had no problems. The hotel was very quite. No slamming doors were heard. The last night, someone was smoking on their balcony so we didn't get to enjoy looking at the stars and listening to the waves. Breakfast was very good. We had bacon the first day and that was the best breakfast of our stay. I did not notice any leaks in the ceiling in the dining area. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The hotel looks like it has been remodeled lately and is very clean. We did not see any of the problems that people complained about recently. The pool was great. The gate to the beach worked perfect. There was plenty of free parking. My only two complaints. 1. The milk wasn't cold enough. 2. They need free coffee in the lobby 24/7 We would stay here again."

"Our stay was incredible! It was a quick getaway for our 39th wedding anniversary. We ended up getting in town earlier than expected so we called to see if we could check in early and they said our room was ready so to come on over. As we walked in our room our eyes were immediately drawn to the sliding doors and the beautiful blue that we could see beyond the glass. We opened the door to step out onto the balcony and to take in the beautiful ocean view. It overlooked the large pool, hot tub and fire pits with setting, all surrounded by palm trees. Of course the ocean and soothing sound of the waves was the main attraction. The room itself was calming and everything exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. Plenty of parking and the staff was very accommodating. The only improvement could have been the elevators. They were very slow moving and not air conditioned. Incredible sunrise in the morning was an added bonus! We definitely recommend staying here if you are in Daytona Beach. "

"The staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The room was advertised as ocean view but it was on the side of the building. My fault for not reading the description a little better as it did advertise that. The view was good though. The ice machine was down the first two days but it was repaired and the staff apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was really good. "
