"The USP of this property is the amazing view down to Lago di Lugano across into Switzerland. There is also the interesting story about the old funicular railway to the rear of the hotel which closed in 1977 but may be refurbished and reinstated if funds can be secured. It is a rural location, about 20 mins walk from the nearby town of Lanzo d'Intelvi and the bus service from Como drops you about 400m from the hotel reception if you aren't driving. "Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Mängel die ich beanstandet habe, zb ein kaputter Duschschlauch, wurden umgehend behoben. Das Frühstück ist zwar reichhaltig, hier würde ich mir am warmen buffet aber mehr Auswahl wünschen. Pilze oder Bohnen.. oder omlett das Einzelzimmer war zwar klein aber hatte dennoch ein Doppelbett. Die Poolbereiche sind gepflegt. Im ganzen ein gelungener Aufenthalt. "
