"We liked the location right on the Plaza which was close to lots of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, there were some homeless people just outside the entrance both days that we stayed here. the hotel is very old and the rooms are quite small but it has a quaint vibe. The coffee shop was okay, not great."

"We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade breakfast each morning. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. "The cabin was beautiful inside. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Just a short walk from our cabin was an awesome fire pit with free s’mores and corn hole boards. We would definitely stay here again."

"The setting was quiet and the flower garden was beautiful. The breakfast was good and fresh. However, the grounds were not swept, the door to the room was dirty, there was no central AC - just a noisy portable AC, and when the innkeeper left in the late afternoon, we were told to use a pass code to enter the registration area to get ice. The pass code didn't work for us."

"Right next to lift 1 at the base, where there are chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Comfortable room with full kitchen. Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos."
