"Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. Hosts were attentive and added to the experience.

"Lovely hotel in brilliant position. Very friendly staff, beautiful comfy room with huge freestanding bath and shower. Easy free parking nearby. Vegan options for breakfast and evening meal and good choice of drinks. Mix of shops and coffee shops very close and beautiful setting looking out to the water. Very much enjoyed our stay. We drove to nearby national trust property and to other coastal areas for
walks. "

"Off to a bad start due to the, otherwise very pleasant, owner pouncing on us as we arrived following a day of travel. We really just wanted to be left alone to arrive and unpack. Not the right time to attempt to convey information and instructions as we unpacked from the car.
Nicely situated geographically with a lovely view of the sea from the front facing windows (the only windows unfortunately) and front door. Unfortunately, a public footpath goes straight past your only windows and front...

"Excellent friendly hotel. Ample parking, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant excellent. Owners are very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. There was a minor set back with checking in. Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. Hopefully was a one off as I will be surely checking in again when I’m in the area. "

"I was disappointed to find that despite what it said on the Hotels site the Red Lion did not organise parking if you phoned. I had to park 5 minutes walk away and thankfully it was not raining too hard. With no food at the pub food choices were a little limited but luckily there is a very good take away pizza shop 50 metres away.
The breakfast I had was very good so no problems with that."
