Friendly staff. Clean room. Only comment would be no room service for top up, clean cups etc as we were there for 2 nights. Would stay again

Lovely hotel in a perfect spot for access to town

Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened).

Got a warm welcome from the cheerful lady on reception. Room was spotlessly clean. Good size bar with cold beer on draught. Would stay here again.

Very nice room with great pressure from the shower - which is always a bonus. Best thing about the Hotel was how quiet it was, we didn’t get disturbed at any point. Great value and in a very convenient part of town to get to as walkers.

Friendly, helpful staff. Be aware that meals are not available at this property, but there is a good choice of cafes and restaurants very close by. Please also be aware that all the rooms are either on the 1st or 2nd floor and that there is no lift (elevator). I would be happy to stay here again.

Tip top cheap as chips and superb!

Clean, organised, generous teas and coffees tray… all in all, for the cost? Don’t think we’ve had better! Cheap, clean, smelled clean, and had been looked after… you could say that some of the furniture was perhaps a bit dated, but it’s been well kept and looked after, which is a good sign of being a good hotel

Room and ensuite were clean and well presented. Kingsized bed comfortable Shops and restaurants all in easy walking distance of the hotel. Only downside. No lift.

The things i like about the angel, clean bed, television, cofee and tea, it was tetley my favourite, laminated flooring,nice and clean room, good size showers, towels, shampoo hand wash, good staff, very warm room as there was a radiator by the bed, In some hotel i have stayed the sheets felt damp but the sheets on the bed i sleep in was very much dry the only thing they could do is to put a peep hole in the doors so if a stranger knock thats staying at the hotel they can look throught the peep hole to see if they know the person safer for the guest i took photos to show my friend to show my friend as they are planning a trip to cardigan they were very impresed and will book

Great value. Very clean. Staff(Krishna) so very nice and accomodating. If you're there on a Saturday night as we were, there is a bar/cabaret on the premises which I didnt realize until after I booked and paid. However, turns out as the bar empties at 2am-ish, the noise is short-lived and not really an issue. If you're staying mid-week, it may be quiet. All in all - it's good value for a qick stay.

An old nice building trying to transform into a swan but ended half way. The room is nice with modern bathroom and finishing. But they kept the wooden floor and stairway that's squeaky, irregular, and noisy. Should give it a more complete makeover.

Stayed overnight for a business trip. Very basic hotel with no catering but excellent value for money. Room was large and toasty warm. My only criticism was that the hotel relies on motion sensitive lighting and this was slow to activate, so I found myself walking along dark corridors with no light, and a few times I tripped over steps but apart from this, the hotel did what it said on the bottle.

The hotel was great, only saw 1 member of staff & he was on reception. The bar was not open due to staff shortages unfortunately. The room was quite spacious for a twin room. The room had beautiful sash windows. But the furniture was quite modern. All the rooms are on the top floor from what I can gather & the stairs are very uneven & there is no lift.

Comfortable and clean room at a good price.

The room exceeded our expectation. It was modern, well furnished and with a really good modern bathroom. In the room there was a hairdryer and iron and ironing board and tea and coffee making facilities. The windows were double glazed and cut most of the road noise. The hotel only has a concierge between 3pm-9pm and does not offer food or beverages. The very helpful young lady on reception when we checked in printed a list of restaurants nearby for both dinner and breakfast. Essentially outside of those hours the hotel is closed but residents enter a side door by using the room key. There are a number of narrow stairs leading to the rooms and there is no lift, this being a very old building, so I’d suggest it would not be suitable for disabled guests or people with mobility issues. All in all our stay was comfortable and absolutely fine. The lack of food service was not a problem as the hotel is situated close to plenty of restaurants and cafes.
