"The room was clean and well presented in a pretty idyllic location. Quite and not very looked. Local pud was within a 10 minute walk and they served great food. The pud overlooked a river and in the summer months there seating available to be able to sit along side the river. We were provided with tea, coffee and biscuits. "The Inn was in good order, the staff were pleasant and efficient. Our evening meal was good and the choices available were good. The room was clean and tidy although small. The wash basin was inconveniently small and we were unable to get hot water out of the tap ; we ran it for a long time but it remained stubbornly cold! "Kitchen was stocked with bread, butter, milk and jam, which was lovely but there was NO tea or coffee. However, given how dirty some of the mugs were, that probably wasn't a bad thing. There were also dirty trays left in the oven and drawer. Rest of cottage was clean thankfully. However, frustrating as limited power points, and no shaver socket in bathroom for toothbrush. "Excellent friendly hotel. Ample parking, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant excellent. Owners are very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. There was a minor set back with checking in. Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. Hopefully was a one off as I will be surely checking in again when I’m in the area. "

They went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable and the whole experience felt relaxed and well-organized.
