"This property was wonderful. They served a delicious free dinner with 3 complimentary drinks and half priced desserts. In the morning we had a great hot breakfast buffet. The staff were all kind and helpful. We found out this is a family owned hotel and it shows in all the details. The bed was comfortable and the room was also nicely decorated. A great stay!!!!"

"This hotel was needing a lot of upgrades. Ice machines broken, people were getting stuck in the elevators, the “free amenities “ they said they were all out of. The little store was empty. The tv was not working and the bed was HORRIBLE, the carpets were frayed… I mean I don’t need fancy but this was not ok. Livable for two days but not worth the money."

"Area is convenient to shopping and eating and the highway. Room was nice, quiet, and clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the air conditioning situation. Air condition does not run when you’re not in the room. It runs on a sensor. You have to wait about 15 minutes when you get back in the room for it to come on so after a hot day outside, you can’t come inside to a cool room. Did not get much sleep at night because the air condition did not run. I woke up several times hot."

"The building looks new and room looks new but nothing feels clean. Floor was dirty in the room. Walked out of shower to bed, my feet got dirty from the floor. Shower gel and shampoo was completely empty had to ask for them to replace. Hair dryer was also missing. Had to call for them to bring up. The room just didn't feel ready for us even though we online checked in 24hrs ahead. Plus there were ants in the lobby for 2 days and not cleaned or had a solution for. It was all over the coffee...

"Tiles loose in bathroom. Shower didn’t fully come on. I felt like I was taking a shower and bath at the same time as faucet kept running. Shower curtain was torn. Tv was working. I finally realized it was unplugged for whatever reason."

"I've stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot in Short Pump several times. The location is excellent. It's close to good shopping, nice restaurants and most important my mom's assisted living facility. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the rooms are very comfortable. It's a great stay particularly for what they charge."
